The Public Broadcaster is the only broadcaster in Georgia that preserves the unique materials (audio and video recordings, feature films, documentaries, popular science and chronicle films, and photographs) created over decades by the state television, established in 1956, and radio broadcasting, founded in 1925. The content produced over these decades, in terms of its themes, structure, and featured individuals, represents not only a national treasure but is also considered a part of the world’s cultural heritage.
